Q: Cannot convert audiofiles to mp3. What's wrong?
A:
Propably there isn't an appropriate MP3 codec installed on your system. You might try the Fhg Radium MP3 codec

Q: How do I make slideshows with audio playing in the background?
A:
Drag the images and audio files to the PlayList Panel, click the PlayCurrentList-Button.

Q: Can I mix videoclips of different formats and framerates in the video editor?
A: Yes, open the video editor and and select the clips. They will be rendered to one clip with the desired size.

Q: Can I also edit asf-videofiles and if so how?
A: Yes, see above.

Q: Is it possible to convert the format of an image into another, i.e. jpg into gif?
A:

Q: How do I scan harddiscs for certain formats instead of all mediafiles?
A:
After MagicMedia scanned your folders, search for the file extensions you are interested in.

Q: How can I stop a slideshow at the end so it doesn´t start over again?
A:
Slideshow editing might be an interesting feature in a future release.

Q: What is DirectX?
A:
Microsoft DirectX is a platform of software components and drivers designed to handle all low-level functionality of multimedia streaming.

Q: I can only play AVI-files and asf-files but no QT-movies (.mov.) What do I have to do?
A:
Mov-files created with codecs introduced with QT 3.0 and higher unfortunately don't support DirectX.
